Dolly's House of Latex for plus size Kings, Queens and Inbetweens

Our house is built on three core pillars

Inclusion

Size

The idea of Dolly's House began because of the lack of options for plus size people. We aim to offer a large range of size options, plus the added option of custom sizes based on your personal measurements.

Gender Identity

It doesn't matter how you identify, what body shape you have, or how you want to present yourself to the world. You deserve to feel fabulous! Whilst traditional sizing may exclude those who don't fit the mould of a perfect or traditional 'female' body type, that isn't the case at Dolly's House.

Sensory Issues

Stereotypes may have you believing that latex must be skin tight from head to toe. At Dolly's House we know this might not be comfortable for some people. We aim to provide a range of design options which range from form fitting to more free flowing. We believe everyone can incorporate latex into their wardrobe in a way that works for their individual needs.

Style

Another stereotype is that latex is only for those on the kinky side of life, and it must always be sexy. At Dolly's House we are all for kink and feeling sexy, we also know latex is far more versatile that those things alone. We want to design a range of products to suit a variety of tastes: kinky, casual, alternative, glamorous....

Affordability

Fair Pricing

Affordability is all relative, everyone has different budgets and priorities. We know traditionally latex clothing is expensive and our aim is to make it as accessible as possible. We obviously need to cover our costs and make some profit in order to function as a business, but we aim to be fair and transparent about our pricing

Size & Price

At Dolly's House we don't believe in prices being higher just because an item is plus size. The usual excuse from other brands is the extra material used. The only time extra material is relevant for us is where a design calls for more material, not the size. For example a maxi skirt will be more expensive than a micro skirt - IN ALL SIZES. This will be clear in all product descriptions.

Complexity

Our pricing reflects the complexity and effort involved in creating an item. All items are handmade, and patterns created by us. We will be transparent about added complexity, especially when it comes to custom sizing or designs.

Custom Sizing

Offering customer sizing is important to us. Depending on the design we may be able to do this for free, or there may be an additional charge required. An extra charge will only be necessary when the item requires time to create a bespoke pattern unique to you. Once you have a pattern on file with us, if you want to order another item that uses that same pattern you will not need to pay the additional charge again unless your measurements have changed.

Empowerment

Feel free to be you

We want to facilitate people being able to be their authentic selves. We want to remove the barriers which may have stopped you from being able to do this before

Express yourself however you choose

For some people this might be wearing the red catsuit out to a club and posting pictures on social media. For others it might be simply purchasing a latex accessory that isn't obvious, but it's a little something of who they are.

The POWER of choice

Sometimes it feels like empowerment means shouting loudly from the roof tops. The definition of empowerment from the Cambridge English Dictionary is "the process of gaining freedom and power to do what you want or to control what happens to you". The freedom and power of choice.

We want you to have the choice to wear latex. The choice of where you wear it. The choice of being who you want to be.

That also means the choice to share or the choice to be private.

Whilst we love to see whatever people want to share of themselves, it's ok if you want to keep things subtle or even secret. You don't owe anyone any part of yourself. It's your choice if you feel safe to and want to share who you are.

Dolly's House is a safe haven for you to purchase latex items of your choice.

All our packaging will be discreet with no identifying marks on the outside. There maybe identifying branding inside the box as standard, but if you have any concerns please let us know and we can remove branded items if it would help you feel safe. Likewise any entries on your bank statements will be discreet.

Beyond basic GDPR, we will never share any pictures or details that you share with us, without your permission.

NO-ONE SHOULD EVER BE OUTED DUE TO A PURCHASE

The people who built the house

Jason & Victoria

Dolly's House of Latex was founded by husband and wife team Jason and Victoria in 2025.

At our core are massive geeks! We love movies, tv, video games, tabletop games and trading card games. Our wedding had several nods to Dungeons and Dragons, which we know a lot of our guests didn't quite 'get', but it was beautiful.

We both have full time jobs alongside running Dolly's House, in very different fields. Neither of us have backgrounds in fashion or running a business. We are learning as we go, and we bring with us an enormous amount of passion and lived experience which we hope will help us bridge the massive gaps in the latex market.

Jason has the creative vision and handmakes all the products. Victoria supports with creating patterns, looking after the back office (anything to do with words or numbers), and gives some creative input from time to time.

We want to do our bit to change the fashion industry, so we created Dolly's House of Latex. To serve those who are unable to access the latex clothing they want elsewhere.

We both live in plus size bodies, with non traditional proportions. We love latex and we are a part of the kink community, but as per our pillars, we don't believe that's where latex lives and dies. It's been seen on red carpets, on catwalks, in music videos and just out there in the everyday world.

We know that not only is it difficult to find clothing to fit plus size bodies, but when we do we are so often told we have to fit in a certain box. For so long we have been made to feel like we must make ourselves smaller, blend into the background, and that is often reflected in the clothing that is available to us.

And we know this isn't just true for plus sizes. We know there are other groups of people who do not fit 'the fashion norms' who are underrepresented in fashion, based on gender identity/presentation, disabilities or accessibility needs, sensory needs and I'm sure so many others.

We say want to do our bit to change the latex fashion industry. So we created Dolly's House of Latex. To serve those who are unable to access the latex clothing they want. We can only start from the place of our lived experience, but we are keen to hear from the community on what challenges you all face so we can hopefully find a way to let you shine in latex you love!

Our journey so far...

The story really begins with early 2000s pop culture. For Victoria it was Britney Spears in the 'Oops, I Did It Again!' music video. For Jason it was Velma in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Those red latex catsuits were a symbol of a powerful woman!

Although back then latex wasn't really spoken about, and all we could find on the high street was cheap PVC costumes. No substitute for the real thing.

Fast forward to our adult years discovering a love for latex, but struggling to find anything to fit that wasn't sold at a premium just for being in a larger size. We would often end up buying items that didn't really fit and would be disappointed with how it looked. When a shiny skin tight garment doesn't fit properly it feels like every lump and bump is highlighted for all to see.

We spent a lot of time looking at the garments we would purchase, or those for offer when shopping. Did you know that latex is glued, not sewn? We have zero sewing skills between us, but gluing... That could be doable. "I think I could make that!" became a frequent phrase out of Jason's mouth. Then one day we were inspired. We were scrolling through Facebook and saw a post in Team Topsy, a community group run by Topsy Curvy Plus Size Fashion. There was a post by one of our now dear friends, Willow, talking about latex and asking if anyone had any recommendations. There were a handful of posts with suggestions of the handful of places we all know about but that don't quite fit our needs. There was also however a lot of wishful responses, hoping they could also find somewhere that could fulfil their latex dreams.

That was it, we ordered a book on making latex clothes. Then we order some latex and the necessary tools. In all honesty we did dive straight into the deep end attempting a pencil skirt. We were not ready for that and although it could be identified as a pencil skirt it was a hot mess!

We persevered, practicing techniques, watching online tutorials, playing with creating different patterns, and we are super proud of what we have come up with! We thought we could make a Facebook page and maybe make some items for a few Facebook friends like Willow and the others from Team Topsy who showed interest. It would just be a little hobby side hustle for some extra pocket money.

Then came Jo and Nat from Topsy Curvy! They have been so encouraging and put us in touch with more people who can help this thing get off the ground. So we decided, if we're going to do it, let's go all in!

We are only two people, making all items to order in our living room around our every day life commitments. So we are starting with launching one product with a few variant options. Once we get going we plan to add more products and more options and more colours. We have big plans for things to come and we can't wait to see where this journey leads us next!
